Swiss Poster Award 2010
Once again, the two political adversaries Christoph Mörgeli (SVP) and Daniel Jositsch (SP) unite for a common cause. At the "Swiss Poster Award 2010" ceremony, they appeared on stage together for the presentation of the award.
Not only are they sitting next to each other on the year's best poster, but National Councillors Mörgeli and Jositsch even agreed to appear together at the award ceremony. They stood on stage alongside advertising specialists Markus Ruf and Danielle Lanz, and client VBZ. Their appearance was one of the highlights of the glamorous APG|SGA Poster Night which took place on 24 March 2011 in Zurich's Maag Event Hall. Over 300 guests – APG|SGA customers and representatives of the advertising industry – watched the exciting spectacle.
Swiss television personality Susanne Kunz hosted the event with great wit and charm. When she asked Christoph Mörgeli why he had agreed to appear in the campaign with Daniel Jositsch, Mörgeli replied with a slight hint of irony, "At first I said no, which I tend to do a lot. But then my political opponent convinced me that it was a good idea." For Daniel Jositsch, it was a dream come true, because during the photo shoot he achieved his childhood ambition of making a tram announcement. And, of course, they both agreed that the publicity could do no harm in election year. Nevertheless, the parliamentarians plan to go their separate ways by tram in future. As a "thank you" for their voluntary participation, APG|SGA presented them with a VBZ season ticket. For different routes, of course.
The jury under the chairmanship of Christian Brändle also awarded Zurich-based agency Ruf Lanz two golds and one silver in further categories, making it one of the big winners of the evening.
A total of 14 Poster Awards were awarded by the jury on Poster Night. We congratulate the winners on their success.
