Programmatic Digital Out of Home (PDOOH) is currently the hot topic in digital outdoor advertising, developing dynamically and becoming increasingly relevant. JCDecaux and APG|SGA therefore asked questions in 13 countries about the development, advantages and disadvantages, and current challenges of Programmatic DOOH and obtained valuable insights:
98 percent of respondents expect great growth in Programmatic DOOH in the coming years.
76 percent see mobile as the channel that perfectly fits with Programmatic DOOH. Online marketing (search, display) is in second place with 53 percent, while TV is in third place with 27 percent.
Decisive factors in selecting a provider are the price (82 percent), the quality of the inventory (79 percent) and the targeting options (73 percent).
At present, most purchases are made in the guaranteed sector (71 percent). Non-guaranteed deals follow with 60 percent, while open auctions account for a rather small share of 35 percent.
