Make a lasting impression with 3D advertising on digital screens
Nowadays, it is more important than ever for companies to inspire people with captivating stories and impressive visual experiences. 3D animations in outdoor advertising offer exactly this opportunity – they transform commercials into spectacular experiences that attract attention.
Watch and jewellery retailer Bucherer and car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz harnessed this potential and staged impressive 3D campaigns on several eBoards and ePanels in the check-in, departure and arrival areas of Zurich Airport. The two brands' commercials caught the attention of travellers and inspired them with their high-quality products.
EURO 2024: Real-time scores through programmatic connection
During EURO 2024, McDonald's fans could enjoy a hamburger for just CHF 1 on all match days when the Swiss national team was playing. This promotion was displayed in real time alongside the Swiss team's current score on eBoards and ePanels at Zurich Airport.
A countdown got the Swiss population in the mood for kick-off. The centrepiece of the campaign was the integration of the score into the advertising media via a live feed, which displayed dynamic messages depending on the national team's score, thus giving the campaign additional relevance. In a third phase, the communication was automatically adjusted to the final result.
Outdoor advertising in the immediate vicinity of the point of sale has a particularly strong impact at busy locations – it increases visibility, creates relevance and promotes the "drive-to-store" effect.
In 2024, Lindt & Sprüngli AG took advantage of the high passenger frequency at Zurich Airport and effectively addressed travellers with two targeted campaigns – with the aim of directing them to the nearby points of sale. An advertising impact study shows that both the likelihood of purchase and actual product purchases were increased.
