SWISS sunrise at Zurich main station

SWISS now not only carries people towards the sun but also brings the sun to the people. The agency Publicis has come up with "a great idea” for the airline with the slogan “The sun hasn’t gone. It’s just somewhere else”: The sun will shine in all its glory on bleak winter days on a 12x8-metre LED screen. SWISS wants to remind people that there are very pleasant temperatures and long sunny days not far away. Sunrises and atmospheric images of destinations such as Dubai or Singapore will be shown, inviting people at the busy station to relax for a moment.

Between October 2017 and February 2018, 792,000 Fisherman’s Friends samples featuring the newest flavour “Spearmint” will be handed out at a total of 13 railway stations in Switzerland.
Special sampling containers with a striking striped design have been developed to attract attention and – thanks to their height – can be seen from a considerable distance.
Together with the striped outfits of the promoters, the sampling presence of Fisherman’s Friends generates maximum visibility and a high level of recognition among passers-by.

Schneeball Tschämp (Snowball Champ)

The Snowball Champ competition brought real snow and a true feeling of winter to the city. This promotional campaign proved how effective a simple activation can be.

Nothing conveys a feeling of winter better than holding real snow in your hands. Or in this case, throwing a snowball with all your might at a plastic sheet. Together with Arosa Lenzerheide Tourism and Promotion Tools, APG|SGA held the first Snowball Challenge at Zurich main station in March 2017.     A simple but extremely effective activation on the theme of winter, which brought the thrill of snow sports to the city-dwellers in an attractive and playful way.

The mens’ Snowball Champ achieved a top speed of 126.98 km/h, while the women’s champion hit 84.39 km/h.

World record by Coca-Cola with gigantic 3D billboard

Even in 2017, advertising still has the power to make people speechless (at least for a moment). The best proof of this has been provided by Coca-Cola since mid-August 2017 with its new billboard at Times Square in New York. The enormous new advertising space consists of 1,760 movable LED screens, took four years to develop, and is the first of its kind – which is why the brand has been awarded two Guinness World Records
