4 April 2023

Danilo M. Ciaravolo has been appointed Head of Airport Advertising & Sales International

APG|SGA is further expanding its analogue and digital offering at Zurich Airport and is therefore strengthening its Airport Advertising division. Danilo M. Ciaravolo will take up his post as the new Head of Airport Advertising & Sales International on 1 May 2023. He will manage the division from Zurich alongside an expanded team. Danilo M. Ciaravolo succeeds Tony Mandingorra, who has decided to leave the company at the end of April 2023.

Danilo M. Ciaravolo is a proven sales expert with 19 years’ experience in the media industry. He has held various specialist and management roles at APG|SGA since 2019 and has an extensive network. He succeeds Tony Mandingorra, who has decided to leave the company after 14 years to set up his own business. He was largely responsible for the successful implementation of airport advertising within APG|SGA’s portfolio.

The team comprises existing staff members Barbara Borri and Lina Belinska (both in Key Account Management), Aaron Eichhorn (Media Planning), and a newly created position to further strengthen the sales team (vacant).

Danilo M. Ciaravolo reports to Andy Bürki, Head of Advertising Market and a member of the APG|SGA Executive Board. Bürki says: “I regret Tony Mandingorra’s decision to leave the company and, on behalf of APG|SGA, would like to thank him warmly for his great dedication and his excellent work. At the same time, I am delighted that we have been able to secure a suitable successor in Danilo M. Ciaravolo. With this internal appointment, we have found a way forward that not only promises continuity but also lays the foundations for continuing to attract new advertising clients to the airport communications space in the long term. The key to this lies in satisfied clients.”
