Paradeplatz on Bahnhofstrasse is situated in one of the most expensive locations in the heart of Zurich and is synonymous with banks, luxury hotels and Swiss prosperity. With the new mega-poster, measuring over 176m², at this exclusive prime location – unrivalled anywhere in Switzerland – advertisers have been drawing attention to themselves effectively and with great impact since 21 October 2022.
The historic ‘Savoy Hotel Baur en Ville’ on Paradeplatz is currently undergoing extensive renovation. Following its reopening in mid-2024, the luxury hotel will be operated by the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. To enhance the building’s appearance, Credit Suisse Group – as the hotel’s main shareholder – has opted for APG|SGA’s outdoor advertising solution following a competitive selection process. The leading Swiss out-of-home media provider has been granted the exclusive rights to install and market a temporary MegaPoster (21m x 8.40m).
Arguably Switzerland’s most exclusive prime location is characterised by high footfall, high visibility and a high-end environment. As a major global financial centre, Paradeplatz is extremely well known to business travellers and, at the same time, holds great appeal for leisure visitors. The impact is remarkable, offering opportunities to reach over 348,000 passers-by per week.
New campaign bookings will be possible from spring 2023, as the first six months have already been Edelweiss Air secured. The MegaPoster at Paradeplatz expands the existing range of large-format advertising spaces in Zurich, which includes, amongst others, the temporary spaces on the corner of Bahnhofstrasse and Pestalozzianlage and the permanent spaces at Oerlikon railway station, the Pfingstweid car park, Zurich main station and the Hardbrücke.
