APG|SGA receives ‘EcoEntreprise Excellence’ certification for sustainable development and social responsibility

Just one year after being awarded the ‘EcoEntreprise Sustainable Development – Social Responsibility’ label for the first time, APG|SGA has achieved the highest level, ‘EcoEntreprise Excellence’, as part of the mandatory recertification process. This award recognises exemplary performance at the highest level in the areas of sustainability and social responsibility and is based on the international standard ISO 26000.

A balanced consideration of environmental, social and economic factors has been firmly embedded in APG|SGA’s mission statement for decades. The ‘EcoEntreprise Excellence’ certificate demonstrates to the public – and in particular to partners and customers in the advertising market – that the company operates a comprehensive sustainability and risk management programme. Since 2013, the national ‘EcoEntreprise’ label has been regarded as the Swiss benchmark in the field of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. It is based on a detailed set of criteria, which is reviewed annually as part of an independent audit. The assessment covers, amongst other things, environmental responsibility, social solidarity, social engagement and economic performance.

Following its initial certification in 2024, APG|SGA has further expanded its sustainability activities and implemented numerous improvements, which have now led to the highest level of certification. Key factors contributing to this have been the comprehensive CO₂ reduction pathway designed to achieve the SBTi-validated climate targets, optimisations in procurement, enhancements to health and safety at work, and new processes that ensure all projects are systematically assessed against sustainability criteria right from the planning stage.

In line with our philosophy of continuously driving forward our sustainability efforts, we have successfully implemented numerous measures over the past few months. The result confirms that we are operating at a very high standard.”

The Excellence label enables us to credibly demonstrate our commitment to all stakeholders.”
