Changes to APG|SGA’s senior management and organisational structure

21 August 2025

Beat Holenstein, Head of Marketing & Partner Market and a member of the Executive Board, has decided to leave APG|SGA on 30 September 2026 after more than 30 years, in order to devote himself to personal projects outside the outdoor advertising industry. However, he will remain available to APG|SGA on an ad hoc basis and for specific projects as and when required. The Board of Directors and the Group Executive Board of APG|SGA would like to thank Beat Holenstein for his many years of successful collaboration and wish him all the best for this new chapter in his life. Beat Holenstein’s decision, announced well in advance, to leave APG|SGA in around 13 months’ time will enable the organisation’s structure to be adapted in stages and with a view to the future.

With effect from 1 January 2026, Nico Benz-Müller will take on responsibility for the ‘Partner Market’ business unit in addition to his current role as CFO. As part of these organisational changes, Nicolas Adolph, who has previously headed up Product Management, will move to the ‘Partner Market’ division as ‘Head of Projects, Tenders & Services’ from the start of 2026. The Field Services team and Peter Gretener (previously in Finance) will also join the ‘Partner Market’ division as ‘Head of Business Controlling, Partner Market’. Beat Holenstein will continue to be responsible for the ‘Marketing’ division until he leaves the company, whilst he will directly lead the ‘Product Management’ division from 1 January 2026. Information regarding Beat Holenstein’s successors in these areas will be provided at a later date.

With effect from 1 October 2025, the ‘Programmatic & aymo’ units – currently headed by Beat Holenstein – will, together with their head Michael Pevec, transfer to the ‘Advertising Market’ business division under the overall leadership of Andy Bürki. This division will be reorganised with effect from 1 October 2025 in order to align itself even more effectively with the demands of the advertising market. As part of this, Michael Sutter will take on overall responsibility for ‘Regional Sales Consultancy’ and ‘Transport Advertising’. The ‘Airport Advertising and Sales International’ unit will now be headed by Raffaello Giorgio, who will report to Marcel Baumann, ‘Head of Key Account Management’, in his new role. Danilo Ciaravolo, the current Head of ‘Airport Advertising and Sales International’, will leave APG|SGA in October 2025.

This reallocation of areas of responsibility, together with the corresponding appointments, will enable APG|SGA to tailor its organisation optimally to the diverse challenges of the future and to consistently meet the needs of its market partners.
