Touch the Sky: Exclusive promotional murals in the Swiss Alps

Through the Mountain Murals initiative, WAND and APG|SGA are joining forces to bring large-scale murals to the mountains. From now on, brands will have the exclusive opportunity to artfully showcase their messages at iconic locations stretching from Graubünden to Valais.

WAND AG, based in Chur, is teaming up with APG|SGA AG to launch a new chapter in outdoor advertising: hand-painted advertising murals in the Swiss mountains. These exclusive advertising spaces are now available in internationally renowned winter sports destinations ranging from St. Moritz to Zermatt and the Jungfraujoch.

“There is hardly any other setting where brands achieve such a high profile, set against the spectacular mountain backdrop and visible to millions of visitors from all over the world,” says Andy Arnold, Managing Director of WAND AG.

The project is being carried out by WAND’s international network of mural artists, which has already realised numerous promotional murals and urban art projects in Switzerland and beyond. As recently as August, the Graubünden-based company created the ‘climbable’ Matterhorn in Zurich for UBS. Instead of painting a mountain, the focus is now on painting in the mountains.
