Advertising mural: When outdoor advertising becomes street art

MINI opted for an innovative form of outdoor advertising that combines traditional advertising with street art. The impressive, hand-painted mural adorned a 450 m² façade in the immediate vicinity of the Hardbrücke in Zurich city centre and was one of the first advertising murals in Switzerland. The artists from the WAND AG They created the artwork in just a few days – come rain or shine – with meticulous craftsmanship. In this way, MINI’s advertising message was brought to life in an extraordinary way, treating passers-by, cyclists, motorists and bus passengers to an unforgettable visual experience.

“A hand-painted promotional mural brings colour and life to public spaces and creates a visual experience that resonates with people and enriches the location. The vibrant colours and dynamic design reflect the energy and urban spirit of the MINI brand. The location at Zurich’s Hardbrücke, with its high volume of traffic and varied vantage points, makes this mural a real eye-catcher that integrates the brand into the cityscape in a creative and unique way.”
