In the vibrant environment of railway stations, state-of-the-art DOOH technology meets high-traffic locations – right in the middle of your target group's everyday life. Moving 3D images seem to pop out of the screen, making people pause and transforming fleeting advertising contacts into impressive brand experiences.   • Broadcast: All APG|SGA digital screens offer the option of displaying 3D content. APG|SGA recommends the Rail and City eBoard formats for the best possible 3D effect.
     
  • Pop-out effect: The pop-out effect should be positioned so that it extends beyond the edges of the screen without losing any important parts of the image. Content that ‘breaks out’ too much may lose its impact from certain angles.
     
  • Perspective: For the best 3D impression, a slightly slanted camera perspective (isometric or ¾ perspective) is recommended, combined with targeted parallax effects. These suggest spatial depth on a two-dimensional surface.
     
  • Shading, light and shadows: Carefully placed light sources and realistic shadows are crucial for creating a spatial impression. Flat light should be avoided – dramatic lighting enhances the depth effect.
     
  • Layering and depth grading: The visual separation of the foreground, middle ground and background is essential. Elements in the foreground should be clearly contoured and move dynamically.
     
  • Text and typography: Text should be used sparingly and not animated in 3D space. Text elements that create depth (e.g. extruded headlines) can work, but they pose risks to readability.
     
  • Spot duration: The recommended spot duration is between 10 and 30 seconds.
     
  • Test before going live: A preliminary test on a reference screen is recommended – 3D effects vary depending on the location. Before the campaign starts, APG|SGA offers you the option of a free live 3D check.
