acrevis Bank AG is making its mark on the St.Gallen cityscape for a year: the bus of the St.Gallen public transport company (VBSG), designed in collaboration with AMMARKT AG and Historika AG, gives the regional bank increased visibility among motorists, cyclists and passers-by on the entire transport network. As part of a welcome event, the bus was christened "Miro" − analogous to the sheep mascot of the acrevis account offer "sparen kids".

 

 

"Since mid-January 2024, a bus operated by the St.Gallen public transport company (VBSG) has been carrying the acrevis name throughout the city of St.Gallen. The all-red bus is an eye-catcher that offers high visibility and, thanks to its mobility on various VBSG lines, also has a wide reach. It thus supports our image as a bank with regional roots and a local presence, with headquarters right on the market square in the heart of St.Gallen and seven other branches between Lake Constance and Lake Zurich: not just my bank for life, but also my local bank. We are delighted with our latest acrevis ambassador and wish the bus and everyone travelling with it a safe and pleasant journey at all times!"

Promotion with pulling power: Nendaz puts itself exclusively in the limelight

 

Nendaz, the vacation destination in Valais, is presenting an impressive complete design of a passenger locomotive in close collaboration with APG|SGA.
On 16 May 2023, the impressive implementation was duly celebrated at Zurich main station, accompanied by delicious raclette in the style of the Valais region. The champagne not only flowed in the glasses, but was also used for the ceremonial christening of the locomotive. With its unique branding, it attracted many admiring glances.

The locomotive will be used on SBB's national long-distance network, generating a huge amount of attention. Over the next 365 days, it will cover around 285,000 kilometers and reach up to one million people every day. The locomotive is an outstanding opportunity to showcase the beauty and attractions of Nendaz. At the same time, it is a commitment to sustainability, as Nendaz is committed to the careful use of resources and social responsibility.

 

 

 


 

Winter BÜGA special campaign: Successfully invited with aymo AudienceTarget and aymo GeoTarget
 

Campaign goal

Free travel with the Rhaetian Railway's Graubünden General Abonnement - who hasn't heard of it? 
RhB relied on aymo Mobile Targeting to present this attractive offer to commuters in the Chur catchment area. 

 

Implementation with aymo AudienceTarget

The target group was clear for RhB. They wanted to reach people who already travel by public transport. The aymo AudienceTarget makes it possible to pre-select target groups in order to reach the optimal target audience easily and directly. Commuters were reached directly on their smartphones using Ricchi Ads. The ads achieved a high click-through rate of 2.78% and a total of 2,588 clicks.

 

Implementation with aymo GeoTarget

RhB used aymo GeoTarget to target the mobile advertising to commuters in Graubünden by defining a radius of 23km around Chur. This ensured that the BÜGA offer only reached those who were traveling in the defined area.

This resulted in 79,388 ad impressions, which corresponded to a CTR of 0.41% and generated a total of 328 clicks.

TREE GUM: A chewing gum without plastic

TREE GUM was born with the mission to bring a plastic-free, 100% natural, sustainable and Swiss-made chewing gum to the market. TREE GUM chewing gums are naturally plant-based, 100% vegan and guaranteed biodegradable. It is important to us that TREE GUM tastes great but is completely free from sugar, aspartame, plastic, artificial sweeteners and flavors.
 

Aim of the campaign
The aim of the campaign was to introduce the Tree Gum brand to potential new customers as a natural alternative to conventional petroleum-based chewing gum. During a two-week test phase, Tree Gum chewing gum was listed in all Valora k-Kiosk outlets. In order to make the target group aware of this and encourage them to buy Tree Gum at the k-kiosk, targeted online display and native ads as well as programmatic digital out-of-home (PDOOH) spots were placed around the point of sale (POS) in collaboration with the agency Drop8.

Ramstein Optik – Live Art Painting

 

Art Basel is an important event for the city of Basel and the entire region. Since the owner of Ramstein Optik is very interested in art, he wanted to implement something extraordinary during Art Basel. The concocted project with artist Eddie Hara started just over a year ago. In addition to the numerous posters (various paintings & portraits of Eddie Hara) throughout the city of Basel, the so-called live paintings are also carried out by the artist. Therefore Eddie Hara painted on three days at various APG|SGA billboards live and in front of all the public on a neutral F4 poster already posted for this purpose. Guest of honor on site was the Indonesian ambassador.

Success with aymo MobileTargeting

How the Migros Cooperative Basel reached a defined target group for its "From the region. For the region." image campaign reached a defined target group in the Basel region and achieved impressive results.

Campaign objective

The Migros Cooperative Basel had a clear objective: it wanted to reach a defined target group in the Basel region in order to generate a high click and engagement rate. It was very important to use a suitable and efficient solution to optimally place the advertising messages and thus achieve high visibility.
 

Implementation

A radius of 10 kilometers around Basel was defined with aymo GeoTarget. In addition, aymo AudienceTarget was used to select the desired target group. This combination resulted in a customized and highly effective advertising campaign that was perfectly tailored to the campaign objectives of the Migros Cooperative Basel.

 

GeoTarget and Audience Target

The campaign achieved an above-average click-through rate of 3.48% in the period from 11.04 - 22.04.23. AudienceTarget combined with GeoTarget generated a total of 6,906 clicks. The results show that the advertising messages reached the target group effectively. 
 

Marco De Matteis, Online Marketing Specialist at the Migros Cooperative Basel, commented on the results:
 

"The click rate was above average and a high dwell time was registered on the campaign page, as well as quite a few leads generated via a competition and newsletter. There was also increased positive feedback from people who saw the advertising material."

 

 

Two giant original artworks become 55 posters

Ramstein Optik has been creating extraordinary Out of Home communication since 1996. The focus is not on the optician’s brand and products, but on artworks by well-known artists. The latest poster campaign during Art Basel 19 attracted a great deal of attention. Basel-based artist Renée Levi created two 25-metre long original artworks on canvas for Ramstein Optik, which were torn into 55 individual posters. The individual artworks could be seen as F4 posters all over the city during Art Basel.

Advertising on a ship for the Porsche Centre Oberer Zürichsee – Feusisberg


The Lake Zurich Navigation Company’s MS «Limmat» transports passengers to various destinations around Lake Zurich. Now, the Porsche Centre Oberer Zürichsee is using the ship to grab people’s attention, with an inflatable advertising panel featuring an eye-catching red Porsche and the company’s name on the railing bands around the entire ship.

Posters get your events noticed

Each year, in the spring, a barbecue exhibition is organized by Selzam AG - the leading Swiss barbecue specialist center - to mark the start of the BBQ season. The aim is to keep in touch with existing customers and gain potential new customers for the company, from the Winterthur region. Thanks to a locally and regionally-based poster campaign, at the start of the season Selzam AG was able to welcome lots of customers to its barbecue exhibition. The results of the customer survey demonstrate the impact of the Out of Home advertising measures.

Vögele Recycling's implementation uses a 3D effect to promote waste disposal. The subject in the background makes the skip stand out as an eye-catcher and thus attracts the attention of passers-by. Three 7m2 F24 surfaces were placed in a prime location in Chur to ensure that the implementation was guaranteed to attract attention.

Outdoor advertising helps overcome times of crisis

Casino Lugano is centrally located directly at Lago di Lugano and is one of the top Swiss casinos. In 2020, it had to close for three months due to the Covid-19 pandemic. When it reopened, Casino Lugano took advantage of the strong impact of outdoor advertising.

A success: With a digital and analog outdoor advertising campaign "Let's play everything, but not with our health", the desired target group was informed about the reopening as well as the security measures of Casino Lugano and encouraged to visit. A humorous campaign in a playing card motif with protective masks and gloves attracted a lot of attention. The comparison with the direct, local competition (see chart below) shows: Outdoor advertising helps even in times of crisis.
