A photovoltaic installation has been in operation on the roof of the Zurich office since the start of August 2023.
The modern installation produces 30 kWp (kilowatt peak) and on sunny days supplies a good half of the electrical requirements within the building infrastructure. Over the full year the installation is set to produce around 36,000 kWh of solar energy, which represents up to 40% of total demand at the Zurich headquarters.
Other APG|SGA sites are in a testing or implementation phase for their own PV installations.
