Touch the Sky: Exclusive advertising murals in the Swiss Alps

October 29, 2025

With Mountain Murals, WAND and APG|SGA are bringing large-scale murals to the mountains. Brands now have the exclusive opportunity to artfully showcase their messages at iconic locations from the Grisons to the Valais.

WAND AG from Chur, together with APG|SGA AG, is launching a new chapter in outdoor advertising: hand-painted advertising murals in the Swiss mountains. These exclusive spaces are now available in internationally renowned winter sports destinations from St. Moritz to Zermatt and the Jungfraujoch.

“There is hardly any other environment where brands achieve such comparable appeal, embedded in the spectacular mountain world and visible to millions of guests from all over the world,” says Andy Arnold, Managing Director of WAND AG.

Marcel Baumann, Head of Key Account Management at APG|SGA, says: “Mountain Murals create a unique advertising experience in the Alps. Brands can artfully stage their messages, make an emotional impact, and leave a lasting impression on an active, affluent target group in prime locations.”

The project is being implemented by WAND's international network of mural artists, who have already completed numerous advertising murals and urban art projects in Switzerland and beyond. Just last August, the Grisons-based company created the climbable Matterhorn in Zurich for UBS. Instead of painting a mountain, they are now painting in the mountains.

As leading Out of Home company in Switzerland, APG|SGA covers all areas of outdoor advertising. In the mountains, APG|SGA offers its advertising customers a comprehensive range of services, including Big Posters, digital Mountain ePanel, Pylon Posters etc. With Mountain Murals, exclusive spaces can now be booked for the first time in the form of unique artistic creations.

A spectacular stage is opening up for brands and agencies: those who act quickly can secure visibility in the Swiss Alps and present their message in a nature-oriented and positive context.
